We currently collect and process the following information:
- Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
How we get the personal information and why we have it
All of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- Completion of details required on the BVA/KC/ISDS Eye Examination Certificate
- Processing of fees relating to purchase of a BVA/KC/ISDS Eye Examination
We use the information that you have given us in order to complete the Eye Test Examination Certificate for your dog(s).
We will share this information with the British Veterinary Association (BVA) to allow the results of your dog’s Eye Test Examination to be uploaded to your Kennel Club (KC) account.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting hello@jovo.org.uk
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.
(d) We have a vital interest.
(e) We need it to perform a public task.
(f) We have a legitimate interest.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep digital records of your personal information for three months. We will then dispose your information by digital file deletion. A copy of your dog’s Eye Test Examination Certificate is stored for 12 months and then destroyed securely via paper shredding and incineration.
